IN ENERGY MEDICINE, ENERGY IS THE MEDICINE, AND ENERGY IS THE PATIENT – DONNA EDEN
Energy has many names such as qi (Chinese), prana (Ayurvedic), life force (Reiki), etc. It’s what we are all made from – from our bodies to our food to all of the things we count on to survive. All traditions believe that when the body’s energy is in balance healing can occur. Any imbalances, therefore, lead to disease and disharmony.
Everything from depression to migraines, from arthritis to cancer starts out as an imbalance in the body’s energetic system. The longer those energies are blocked, scrambled, or damaged in some way, the more likely physical, emotional, and mental symptoms will manifest. And so the reverse is also true where once imbalances are detected, corrected, and maintained the symptoms can disappear.
Energy Medicine comes in many forms – Acupuncture, EFT, Qi Gong, Reiki, Healing Touch, Applied Kinesiology, Eden Energy Medicine, Sound or Vibration Therapy, and many more.
If you have ever taken a yoga or pilates class, used magnets, essential oils, or crystals you’ve practiced energy healing on yourself.
Energy needs space to move and it also knows what it needs and doesn’t need to heal. Eden Energy Medicine Practitioners are educated in the 9 different energy systems of the body. They know how to correct imbalances, and blockages and heal damaged areas by communicating with the energy directly to find out what it needs. Energy Medicine works well with traditional medical care as well as being a stand-alone in treating and preventing many disorders.

Energy doesn’t communicate in English, French, Chinese or Swahili, but it does speak clearly. Elaine Seiler. (We just have to know how to communicate with it)
What to Expect During Your Energy Medicine Session
After a thorough review of your intake forms, we’ll discuss your goals for the session. Sessions are completed while the client is sitting, standing, or laying on a massage table.
Evaluation of your energetic systems will be done through kinesiology-style muscle testing. Gentle laying on of hands, tapping, stimulating energy points, and certain postures are used while the client is fully clothed (except possibly the shoes).
Healing techniques are performed to correct out-of-balance energy patterns. Tracing or swirling the hand above specific energy pathways, focusing the use of the mind, and surrounding the aura with healing energies may also be utilized.
A personalized plan is created for each client based on individual needs and instructions on exercises to continue at home are provided to the client.
In every culture and in every medical tradition before ours, healing was accomplished by moving energy. Albert Szent-Gyorgyi, MD Nobel Laureate in Medicine
