Marian College
Mary graduated from Marian College in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and worked for more than 20 years in emergency medicine.
Nursing
In her years of being at the bedside, Mary always had an interest in learning about her patients’ experiences with alternative and holistic approaches to healthcare.
Introduced to Reiki
In 2007 Mary was introduced to Reiki by her massage therapist who was a Reiki Master.
Reiki Master
After experiencing the healing and relaxing benefits of this seemingly simple technique she pursued her first attunement in Usui Reiki in 2009.
Energy Girl is Founded
Over the years she continued to learn more about the wonderful healing benefits of Reiki energy while also discovering energy medicine. In 2017 Mary left nursing to pursue an education in energy healing. In 2018 she enrolled in a two-year certification program learning The Eden Method of energy healing and in 2019 Mary received her Reiki Master certification in Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki from the International Center for Reiki Training. She believes in the body’s ability to heal itself and is passionate about continuing to learn new ways to assist in that healing. Energies can be balanced and tools can be learned to overcome obstacles that prevent us from living our true purpose. Mary started Energy Girl, LLC so she can help people become the best versions of themselves and live their lives with optimal harmony and balance.
